UCF Board of Trustees Approves New Tuition Regulation
A new regulation governing tuition rates and waivers for graduate assistants and fellows was approved by the BOT at their July 24, 2008 meeting. As the proposal describes, “the regulation establishes the conditions under which graduate assistants and fellows will be granted tuition remission in the form of (a) tuition waivers, (b) tuition payments by grants, contracts or units, and (c) treatment as in-state students for tuition purposes.”
The new tuition regulation will assist UCF in recruiting and retaining more high-quality graduate students by providing competitive financial support packages for them.
