New Admissions Regulation Reviewed by the UCF Board of Trustees
Following discussion throughout the state regarding devolution of admissions regulations from the Board of Governors to the university Boards of Trustees in June 2008, the UCF BOT discussed newly proposed changes in admissions criteria for graduate programs. The proposed regulation was circulated widely to all colleges and the Graduate Council Policy Committee has reviewed and approved it for adoption by the university. Upon approval by the President, it can then become a university regulation, replacing the old Board of Governors regulation. It is anticipated that implementation will take place for spring semester 2009, once the President approves this regulation.
